When they say "Guitar Center" ... well, they aren't kidding. BJ's guitar teacher told us about this place but I had no idea of how incredible it would be. I remember a guitar store in downtown Nashville as a kid but it didn't compare to this store at all. We stayed over an hour and it felt like we were there for five minutes.
BJ has a new guitar, tuner and case now. Jackson wants a guitar and a drum set now. He and Zoe hung out by the teen-age boys and listened to them play electric guitar. The boys were laughing and playing songs for them.
Hank was pretty good on drums. He preferred the regular (no head phones) drums and he experimented with the snare drum and cymbals, too. I somehow missed getting his picture.
Zoe listened to the digital drums but they were way too loud for her ... she's not into any loud noises ... so after that, she was saying "home, home." So much for hoping that she'll be a rock star some day ... only if she can find a quiet rock band! :)
This is a totally cool place to visit ... It's at the end of 100 Oaks Mall, if you are interested in going there yourself. And, so much for my "do not touch anything" lecture before we went in. :)
