Awesome Pool

We finally got to swim at the new Y pool today.  On Memorial Day, the entire sky fell out about 30 seconds after we got there ... no exaggeration.  This is the first day since then that we've been able to get back over there.  So ... today, was awesome!

Our day started out at Target ... to pick up a few necessary pool items and a toy or two.  Jackson was happy to get a Narnia sword and, Hank, a boulder launcher.  Zoe just wanted "glasses" for swimming.

Next, we were off to the new pool ... joined by our friends, Gwen and Kristen, who brought a big plate of cookies.

The pool has so much to do and it is about 3 1/2 feet at the deepest part ... so you don't have to get too nervous about it being too deep.  There are "shooting up" water fountains everywhere ... a big "water tower" that dumps water every little bit ... an area that feels like rain is falling ... a nice sized 1 foot baby pool ... water slides ... and, if they get bored with the water, there are a couple of playgrounds.

We'll probably be spending a lot of time here ... Note Hank under the big blue and red water spout (in light blue swim trunks).  In one picture of Hank, you can see a Chinese girl to the left.  She was one of a set of twins ... they were very, very cute!

On the ride over, we passed a church.  Jackson pointed and told Hank, "Jesus, used to live there."  Hank said, "I know that already.  He moved, though."  :)
