Visiting Granddaddy and Uncle Scott

This afternoon, we drove over to see Bain's dad and younger brother ... They live just a few minutes from our hotel. Bain's dad is about 82 or 83 and we don't get to see him very often - so it's a treat for us to visit in the afternoons.

The kids were very excited when Uncle Scott got out his Harley to give them all rides. Zoe was almost more excited than I've ever seen her. :)

After our visit, we walked to the local pier and checked out the view under a beautiful full moon (You can see the moon in the pic that looks kind of brown in color ... yes, my camera's cheap so I couldn't get a decent shot). The power of the ocean and shining under the glow of that moon ... wow! It was breath-taking. The kids loved the pier gift shop and we bought some little toys and a shark's tooth.

Now, we are "home" and everyone is worn out and going right to bed. Let's hope it lasts tonight!

Seeing that full moon on the pier sounds like a perfect ending to a great vacation to me!
