Family Kingdom

For families like us who avoid the "Magic Kingdom" ... there is "Family Kingdom" here at the beach. What do we like about it? It's much cheaper. :)

Tonight, we ate dinner with Bain's family and then headed to "Family Kingdom" for some fun.

We are getting pretty exhausted ... so if you see my kids next week, go easy on them! If you see me, I'll have cream in my coffee.

BJ had a tough time on one ride that he rode with Hank & Bain. I am still feeling bad for him. He just doesn't like the fast, high rides at all. We were laughing about him being so scared until Bain & I figured out that he was really upset. So, we took him to the ring toss game to help take his mind off the bad experience.

We had told BJ that we wouldn't play any of the games (because we know that most of the games are virtually impossible to win). BJ was sure that all the amusement park games would be easy for him to win if we'd just give him $5 to play. He has some life lessons to learn, huh? :)

Hank was the daredevil. He rode the pirate ship, the log ride and the sling shot without (too much) fear. The Sling Shot is the tall ride in the picture. It goes all the way up in about 1/2 a second. He said that he's no baby ... and he's not scared. :)
