Bain was nice (a saint, actually!) to watch the kids last night while I got a night out with some friends. We had a great dinner and fun conversation at a local Asian restaurant that had somehow floated under my radar. The tiny, "sophisticated" restaurant, Basil's, is really great. We enjoyed steamed dumplings, lettuce wraps, chicken coconut soup (yum!!), sesame chicken and thai chicken ... and a little bit of sake for good measure! Can't wait to take Bain there for dinner next ... or to maybe stop by there for lunch.
