Countdown to the Weekend

We've made it through another whirlwind of a week. The time seems to go by so quickly!

Today, Zoe & I met friends at Starbucks for morning coffee. (Check out both kids' hands. They each brought a ball to play with and they weren't sharing! The grown-ups got to chase the balls around Starbucks - which was really fun.)

Then, we met BJ at his school field trip for a little while. He was at the county "ag center" for a day of learning about farm animals and farming.

Next, we hit Target. We hit Target every day that Jackson is in Mother's Day Out ... It's becoming a tradition. I'm trying to keep the cost of the tradition to under $50 per visit ... but it's almost impossible. All the people who work at Target say, "Hi, Zoe" when we walk in the door. That is not a good thing!! :)

Zoe fell asleep in the car by then ... so I stopped for a take out lunch and read in the car for about an hour. Then, it was time for picking up Jackson.

Tonight, we had pizza for dinner (See pic of Hank ... He wasn't shy about taking two pieces ... at the same time!) and, no, we don't live in Texas ... in case you noticed Hank's boots. He was playing "army man" outside with his friends. They all had interesting pieces of clothing to help them look more the parts of army men ... very creative, at least.

Later tonight, we'll be at the ball park again. BJ has a late game and we'll be there until around 9:30 probably. Tomorrow night, Hank & BJ have a game and on Saturday afternoon and night we have two more.

Pretty boring blogging today, huh? I did hear a funny blond joke today ....... Why was the blond girl mad when she lost the breast stroke swimming competition? She heard the other swimmers cheated ... they used their arms! :)

Last thought for the day ... Zoe really looks cute in dark blue, too. Her skin and hair coloring are really going to be pretty with dark jewel toned clothes!
