One little problem that Zoe has had is that she would gag whenever she tried to eat. She knows the difference between food and non-food. Give her a plastic toy and it goes right in her mouth ... give her a cracker and she won't let it anywhere near her lips. If she thinks she might have gotten a little food near her mouth, she'll close her lips and eyes really tight and blow out of her mouth.Well, after a "spoon session" each day for the past week, I'm very happy to say that, yesterday, she finally was able to eat several spoonfuls without gagging. She still doesn't like to eat from a spoon (see unhappy face in picture) but at least she isn't throwing up and breaking into a cold sweat! Not such great pictures ... our camera doesn't work well when anyone is moving and she was really moving! :)
We also had Hank's kindergarten program on Friday morning. Hank was a Pilgrim ... I think that he is about the 2nd little boy from the left side in the picture. He has on khaki pants instead of black ... guess I missed the memo!
Our Greenberg smoked turkey arrived from Texas this afternoon. That is usually our first big food item for the holiday season each year ... We are starting to stock the house for Thanksgiving and plan all the food to be cooked!

Eliza had a hard time with food at first too, but is now tolerating quite a variety of foods!
