Here are a couple of maps of China ... Zoe is living on the southeast coast in the Guangdong province. Click on the larger map and it shows the cities. In the lower right corner, you'll see Hong Kong on the coast and Guangzhou just slightly inland. Guangzhou is where we will be staying for two weeks of our trip. Zoe's orphanage is about a three hour drive south of where we will be ... it is also located in a coastal town. The size of China is roughly equal to the size of the United States so the weather varies quite a bit - similar to how it varies here. While we are in Beijing (northeast part of China, near Korea), it may be very cold - even snowing - and then we will fly to Guangzhou where it will probably be in the 70s.
