Last Wednesday was a full day off from school for everyone for a teacher's professional development day in our county. I was SO looking forward to a sunny day and we planned a play date for a bunch of kids from church to come over to our house.
Well, instead, as you can see, the sky fell ... It was a mess all day. We still had our play time (indoors) in the morning and then, in the afternoon, Hank & Jackson played in the back yard sandpile. They created a little "moat" of water (by digging a pretty deep hole and filling it with water from the hose) and proceeded to get totally dirty from head to toe.
The first few pictures are from earlier in the day when Hank & Jackson kept going out on the porch and watching the rain pour off the roof of our covered porch ... guess it is time to clean out the gutters! :) Poor Tabasco (our Irish Setter) was soaked!

Is that your backyard? Hole EE, please don't let S & D see that! The boys must be in heaven.
What a great fireengine. How warm is where you are? We're still in hats/winter coats. Yikes!
